About

Opera Kipling was formed in 2019, by a group of singers, after a marathon-viewing of reality tv and a lot of time in the pub.

Our first production, ‘Cosi fan Tutte’ was a rambunctious modern-retelling of Mozart’s classic, set in a world of reality dating shows compete with an audience vote! 

As a group of like-minded Performers, we decided we wanted to create small, affordable and above-all accessible productions. Our shows and concerts aim to be as inclusive as possible and we have had happy audience members from age 7-70! 

Since our foundation we have performed at the International Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Camden Fringe Festival, in France and, of course online! Our singers are all working professionals and currently perform in Opera houses both in the UK and abroad. We pride ourselves on giving performers opportunities to sing new repertoire for their career progression and love to support singers with role debuts. 

We perform our main production during the Summer months, but if you would like to hire us outside of this, please contact us directly to discuss further.
